The program and coaches were absolutely amazing. It was fun watching the boys progress and play each week. I noticed a huge difference with my son's knowledge of the game, fundamentals and overall improvement in skills. My son looked forward to practices, learned a lot while having fun and enjoyed playing with the Dimes. We will definitely be back next season!!

BLAKE PUGMIRE

Coach Pugmire has 12 years of high school basketball coaching experience.

Originally from Laketown Utah, he has lived in Eagle Mountain for the past 10 years where he started the boys basketball program at Cedar Valley High School. He began his coaching career at Lone Peak High School as an assistant coach under Quincy Lewis where they won two state championships and one national championship.  He spent 5 years as the head coach at Providence Hall High School in Herriman, Utah where he also started their basketball program. In his final season, their team went undefeated in region and finished the regular season ranked in the top 3. He was the recipient of the 2019 Utah High School Coaches Association's 3A coach of the year award.

Coach Pugmire understands what it takes to win at a high level and the importance of how a good feeder program contributes to that. " It's important to invest time and resources into our youth teams. These are the kids that will eventually become our high school players some day, so we need to teach them how to play the game the right way at an early age. We want our feeder program to be an extension of our high school program in everything we do."

Coach Pugmire and his wife have 4 beautiful children.

Coach Yeager and his wife, Rachelle, have a beautiful family. Dawson (26) and his wife Lauren; Duncan (24); Delaney (19) and her husband Ethan; and Decker (15).

Coach Yeager is very excited about helping at Cedar Valley. “Coaching is all about relationships.  I am blessed that the players allow us coaches to be a part of their lives!  My biggest thrill isn’t just watching them succeed on the court, but also seeing them develop into amazing and successful young men.  I’ll cherish these moments for the rest of my life!”

Coach Yeager understands the importance of having a strong, organized youth program and how it leads to success at the high school level. “It takes a community to build and maintain a strong youth basketball program. The growth in this area will allow us to take Cedar Valley basketball to new heights and compete with other top programs around the state. Students, parents, coaches, administrators, school employees and community members…..we’re ALL Aviators!”

TY ZAMORA

I am Ty Zamora, I have played basketball here in Utah for 15 yrs through recreational opportunities. This has brought me a wide range of knowledge for the game,  times even playing with known college/pro players & just about anybody else you could think of. I decided 3 yrs ago to share this passion for basketball I had, In the form of skills training.I have helped several youth clients improve their abilities. Recently even coaching my daughter's Jr Jazz team was the most fun I've had in all my years of basketball by far. With my training sessions I focus on making the workouts simple & straightforward. I like to work on the fundamental aspects with a player & then allow their creativity to shine through as they build upon the core points. This allows them to make deviations within a game for most any case scenario as they will have a wide variety of options at their disposal. My main goal is to improveguard skills, this has become more valuable even for the big men to aquire this into their array of skills more & more every year. I love teaching players something new & or challenging that they later become comfortable in that action repeatedly.Overall I love playing basketball & helping others so this training has been a perfect blend of my abilities/aspirations rolled into one. I'm so excited for the future! I'm looking forward to helping you get more Buckets, become a better teammate & improving your game. But most of all, flourishing into a confident, hard working, helpful & kind human being!
